The Gentile family has established a reputation of excellence with Italian cuisine and in particular making the best pizzas in the Limestone Coast of South Australia. We have even won the title of Australia’s Best Pizza!
Offering not only traditional types of pizza such as capriciose and the award winning Marinara, Caffe Belgiorno restaurant offers a wide selection of Mediterranean dishes from their extensive menu that has been developed over the past 17 years and enjoyed by our loyal customers.
Our Tapas Bar opened in 2007 and we pride ourselves in providing customers with the freedom to furnish the venue to their individual taste and design a Tapas or a la carte menu to satisfy their guests.
The People
Wally and Maria Gentile opened the doors of Caffe Belgiorno in 1997 in the SA heritage listed Commerical Oatmill in Percy Street after spending months working in partnership with SA Heritage Trust to design a unique restaurant.
Three generations of the Gentile family provide you with a memorable dining experience come and enjoy the fine wine and great food served by award winning staff in our heritage listed building.
Supporting the local community is important to Maria and Wally who continue to sponsor local sporting clubs including International Soccer Club and Bike SA; the Learning Assistance Program (LAP) at Melaleuca Park Primary; Stand Like Stone Community Foundation.
Maria is currently a board member with Women in Business & Regional Development Inc.
